BIOGRAPHY

Jean-Michel Proust born June 12, 1957 in Lens, is a saxophonist, composer, conductor, radio, television, press, artistic director of festivals and jazz club programmers.

Musician, radio producer-host (France Inter, Europe 1, TSF), journalist (Nouvel Observateur, Jazz Hot, Jazz Magazine), artistic director of clubs (Jazz Café Montparnasse, Duc des Lombards) and festivals (Jazz au Phare, Paris Guitar Festival), saxophonist (Ornicar Big Band, Harlem Nocturne, Swingin 'Tenors, Flying Home) has never ceased to express his passion for music, and for jazz in particular, to the point of exploding his activities in order to to make it shine better. His only job, he admits, is that of animator "the one who gives a soul". A profession that he declines "Body & Soul", body and soul.
